Inside Account Manager – Winnipeg

Our Client, a leader in industrial distribution, is ready to add an INSIDE ACCOUNT MANAGER to a progressive, fun sales team!

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage and grow approximately 400-500 assigned accounts via phone
  • Increase customer awareness through product and service offering
  • Grow revenue with these customers
  • Schedule customers on a rotating call cycle while ensuring customer satisfaction
  • Achieve sales and profit targets provided by the DSM
  • Maintain customer records while producing weekly activity reports
  • Communicate regularly with the District Sales Manager regarding issues and opportunities 
  • Exhibit a high level of relevant product knowledge  
  • Fax, email and mail customers flyers and sales information

 

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:

  • At least 1 year of successful sales experience, preferably  in an Inside Sales environment
  • Advanced computer literacy including Microsoft applications, CRM and ability to learn proprietary software
  • Enthusiastic, ability to work independently and strong time management skills
  • Resourceful, strong sense of initiative and drive to succeed
  • Superior interpersonal and customer relationships building skills
  • High-energy professional with strong listening skills
  • Strong typing skills, ability to multitask
  • Demonstrated team-player
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Knowledge of the selling process  is beneficial
